TWO true simple DIMPLES
Two are the dimples on my face,
True, they are simple and in place,
But which of them faces the camera
today
That a picture I really must display?
Mirror, mirror
On my heart's wall
Hurry! Hurry! Answer my urgent call.
Which is the fairer of the two?
Which is clearest?
Which is true?
The left I’m tempted to choose
Though the right I don't want to lose.
The right brings me memories I
cherish
And the left builds moments I relish.
Mirror, mirror
On my heart's wall
Hurry! Hurry! Answer my urgent call.
Which is the fairer of the two?
Which is clearest?
Which is true?
My pretty dog that I love and often
miss
Wants to wish me luck with a doggy
kiss.
I know I must draw close with either
my left or right cheek
But the answer is all I ever ever
seek.
Mirror, mirror
On my heart's wall
Hurry! Hurry! Answer my urgent call.
Which is the fairer of the two?
Which is clearest?
Which is true?
If I had all my life and time
And could add more lines to this
rhyme,
I will cooperate till I make the
choice
That will separate me forever from
the boys.
The camera will soon blink.
The flash will soon wink.
My image will soon be captured.
And my face will soon be pictured.
Whichever of the two that will appear
I will love and still hold the other
dear
Until the mirror, mirror on my
heart's wall
Answers my humble humble and urgent
call
